Bessemer City is a small suburban city in the County of Gaston. It is a part of the Noth Carolina state. The city has a total area of about 11 sq. kms., situated at an elevated height of about 980 ft. from the ground level. FMC Lithium Inc. and Advanced Drainage Systems are the principal employers of the town. A notable resident of the town is P. Crosby.
