Bowbells is a city of Burke county in the U.S. state of North Dakota. Bowbells is the County seat of Burke. The city was founded along the railroad of Soo Line. Bowbells has a total area of about 2 q. kms. and is situated at an elevated height of about 1965 ft. from the ground level.
Farming is one of the principal economic activities of the region and as far as industries are concerned it is principally related with oil based industries. As far as education is concerned, it is mainly handled by the Public School system of Bowbells. It not only serves the local student community, but also offers substantial employment oppurtunities for the people.
