Broken Arrow is located in the County of Tulsa. It is on the northeastern part of Oklahoma state. A smaller part of the town is located on the western part of Wagoner County. Broken Arrow is a part of the metropolitan area of Tulsa. It has a total area of about 118 sq. kms. and is situated at an elevated height of about 755 ft. above the ground level.
The local economy is primarily based on agriculture. Industrial development can also be traced in the town. Some of the prominent employers are Blue Bell Cremeries, Windstream Communications and Flight Safety International. Education, media and transportation are fairly developped in the area, complimenting the growth of the city. J. Baumer is a notable resident of the town.
