Cartwright is a small rural community town in Oklahoma. It is located in the County of Bryan. Cartwright is named after a former U.S. Congressman, W. Cartwright. The town was originally used as a settlement area for the dam workers of Denison dam. Most of the villagers are involved in agricultural activities in and around the village community town. It also boasts of a local Post Office and some of the inhabitants are also employed there.
