Casselton is a small city of Cass County. The city is named after G. Cass, the erstwhile president of NPR. The town is now a bedroom community of Fargo. With a total area of about 5 sq. kms, it is situated at an elevated height of about 936 ft. above the ground level.
Agriculture is one of the principal economic activities of the region. American red squirrels are quite famous here, so much so that it is used as a mascot of the high school at Cantral Cass.
Casselton is also home to the worlds largest pile and free standing stucture. A.H. Burke is a notable resident of this place.
