Paintball games are available at venues in Colorado Springs. This is a sport in which teams fire paintballs against each other. The aim to eliminate the opposition team members by tagging them with a paintball. This is essentially a capsule containing water soluble dye and gelatin shell outside. This is fired using a paintball gun (or marker). The players can hide from each other, and take cover while firing. The terrain can be varied to enable cover-taking. A number of different objectives apart from the primary tagging can also be part of the game. It can last for a few minutes to even days. This is a popular recreational activity. Regulated play offered in Colorado Springs over artificially constructed terrain (or outdoors) have safety rules such as wearing masks and a protective armor to shield against the pain of impact of the paintball.
