Hauula is a census-designated place and rural community in the Koolauloa District on the Island of Oahu, City & County of Honolulu. The name refers to a kind of tree. The CDP's population during the 2000 census was 3,651.

Sugarcane was once grown on a narrow strip of the coast. The community has a number of beaches and beach parks, which is attractive from the point of view of tourism.
