Hospices in Houma are the services based on the philosophy that focuses on providing relief & lessen sufferings of the terminally ill patients. These patients can show a variety of symptoms that may be- physical, emotional, spiritual or social in nature. Hospices have been the places that provide hospitality for the sick, wounded, or dying. Travelers and pilgrims are also accommodated & provided facilities in the hospices. At present, all the hospices in Houma are found to provide palliative or comforting care, similar to those provided in hospitals or nursing homes, for the incurable ill patients.
