Oak Grove is a town of Alabama in United States with a population of 528 based on the 2010 census. It is a suburb of the city of Sylacauga and has two districts that are adjacent, and both keep running along U.S. Roadway 280, which keeps running from Birmingham, Alabama, southeastward to Columbus, Georgia, and after that through Georgia toward Jacksonville, Florida. Oak Grove is about 40 miles and 70 miles north of Montgomery by means of U.S. Roadway 231. There are various organizations along U.S. Expressway 280, privately called "the four-path", and County Road 280, which was once in the past U.S. 280 preceding development of the four-path. Thin Graham, a previous Major League Baseball pitcher is from Oak Grove.
