Prichard is the name of a city in Mobile County in the American state of Alabama. Nicknamed ‘The City of Champions’ and ‘The Crossroads of Mobile County’, Prichard covers a total area of 25.4 square miles, of which 0.1 square mile is water.
According to the 2010 census, Prichard recorded population of 22,659. The education system is supported by Mobile County Public school system. There are five Elementary schools in the city, and a couple of high schools. The city is also served by the University of Mobile. Two public libraries in the city are the Prichard Public Library and the Mitchell Public Library.
