San Tan Valley is a census-designated place located in the U.S. state of Arizona. It is within northern Pinal County at Phoenix metropolitan area's southeastern suburbs. It has a total land area of 36.68 square miles at 33°10′13″N 111°34′20″W. As of the 2010 census data, the total population was 81,321.
