Tununak is a census-designated place located in the U.S. state of Alaska. It is within Bethel Census Area just nearby Toksook Bay at Nelson Island on the northwest side. It has a total area of 60.7 square miles at 60°34′50″N 165°15′34″W. The village was first appeared on 1880 census as "Tanunak" and reappeared again in 1940. The village was incorporated as Tununak in 1975 and disincorporated in 1997. It made a census-designated place in the 2000 U.S. census with 325 people living in the area.
