Woodsville is a small town located between the counties of Grafton and Haverhill. The town lies just beside the river of Connecticut at the mouth of Ammonoosuc river. Though the present county seat of Grafton is North Haverhill, the village of Woodsville was traditionally seen as the County seat due to the historical location of the County Court house here.
