Adams is a city in Robertson County, Tennessee. It is part of the Nashville-Davidson--Murfreesboro Metro Area, and has a total area of 2.5 square miles, all of which is land. It was originally incorporated in 1869, renamed to the present name of Adams in 1898, and disincorporated in 1899. It was reincorporated later, and then incorporated as a city in 1963.
