Albertville is a city in Marshall County, Alabama. It is part of the Huntsville-Decatur Combined Statistical Area. It was initially a Native American settlement. Non-indigenous settlement occurred during the mid-eighteenth century, and Albertville was incorporated in 1891. The city has a total area of 26.0 square miles. 26.0 square miles of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.38%) is water.

The award winning Albertville "Aggie" Band, and the nationally award winning Albertville Show Choir "CenterStage!" are both from Albertville. The Mueller Company, which produces fire hydrants, is located here, thus known as "Fire Hydrant Capital of the World." Apart from that, the city also has poultry plants operated by Wayne Farms, Pilgrim's Pride, and Tyson Foods. The primary healthcare provider is Marshall Medical Center South, a 150 bed facility.
