With a total area of about 2.5 sq. miles, Algoma is located within the county of Kewaunee. A beautiful place along the Michigan Lake and just at the mouth of Ahnapee river. Some important highway's criss-cross this town, like the WIS 42, 54 etc. Shanty days, is a major cultural event held around August.
