With a total area of more than 13 sq. miles, Annadale is a town of the Fairfax County. The region of Annadale is bisected by the Accotink Creek, which created the
Accotink Lake. This lake is a source of water supply for the U.S Army. Areas around the Creek is a favorite for tourists, since it is said to be famous for hiking, skiing, biking among others. The forests around the creek contains various flora and fauna, like geese, fox and deer along with a variety of birds. Some of the prominent employers are ENSCO Inc, Dyn Corp and CSC's headquarters and Exxon Mobil, apart from tourism. There are a number of Korean residents in the town. Tourism is centered around the Recreational Center of Audret Moore and the Public library of Fairfax County. There are also a number of Parks in the area, like Ossian Hall Park, Kendale Woods Park, Larchmont Park among others. Some famous residents of the town includes, Bill Hamid, Fawn Hall, Kelly Willis among others.
