With an area of about 3.5 sq. miles, Baldwin is a city within the areas of Habersham and Banks Counties. Baldwin sits beside the Eastern Continental Divide. This separates the water of the Savannah river from flowing down to the southeastern direction. There is an airport at Baldwin apart from other forms of transportation. The biggest employer of the city is Fieldale Corp.- a big chicken processing company. Apart from this, the residents are also engaged in other small business activities.
