Belle Plaine is a community of Scott County in the U.S. state of Minnesota. Belle Plaine has a total area of about 11 sq. kms. and it is also elevated at a height of about 856 ft above the sea level. There are two main highways bisecting the community place. Belle Plaine is located beside the river of Minnesota in the great valley of Minnesota River.
