This is a town in the Windsor County in the state of Vermont. The the town has a total area of 45.4 square miles and a population is around 2,000 with a per capita income of around $18,500. The town is located near Bethel-Gilead, Lilliesville, East Bethel and Lympus and West Bethel. Bethel as a town is best known for being the primary source of white Bethel granite which has been previously used in the building of the Union Station in Washington, DC.This place is also famous for the National Museum of Natural History. Bethel is said to be the the first town created by the independent Republic of Vermont in the year 1779.It is said to be named after the biblical village of Bethel.
