Big Bay is a small Community town located in the County of Marquette. Located within the area of Powell Township, it is situated just near the shore of Big Bay of the Lake Superior. The town covers an area of over 15.5 sq. kms. and is located at an elevated height of about 683 ft. from the ground level. Tourism and limited number of agricultural facilities are some of the principal economic activities of the region.
