Big Pine is a small community town located in the county of Inyo of California state. It is located about 24 km southeast-south of the city of Bishop, and located 3990 ft. above sea level. Big Pine is a favorite place for nature loving tourists. The Big Pine Paiute Development Corporation(BPPDC), is responsible for the economic development of the tribal community.
