Blountstown is a city located in the County of Calhoun, Florida. It is also the County seat of Calhoun. The city of Blountstown is named after a former Seminole Indian Chief, John Blount. Blountstown has a total area of about 3.3 sq. kms. There is a high school in the town and many residents keep themselves engaged with it.
