This is a town in the Orange County of the state of Vermont. The population is around 2,700 with a per capita income of about $19,000. It's first settler was John Hosmer in the year 1765. It was originally known as the Waits River Town after Joseph Wait The town has a total area of about 29.9 square miles and is home to about 3,000 inhabitants. It has a total student population of about 860 and is home to the Oxbow high school and the Bradford Elementary and the economy is primarily based upon agriculture and tourism. Some of the historical places are the Bradford Historical Museum & Society and the Old Church Community Theatre.
