The original name of this town was Brattleborough. It is a town in Windham County in the state of Vermont. Brattleboro is located in almost at the southeast corner of the state and is quite famous for its vibrant arts community. The Connecticut River flows beside it and the place has a thriving tourism industry with plenty of natural beauty, like the slow living summit and the strolling of the Heifers. There are also some noted educational institutes, like the Marlboro Graduate school College & Union Institute & University. The Battleboro retreat is a noted psychriatic hospital.
