Breckenridge is the Home Rule Municipality located in the U.S. state of Colorado. It is within and the county seat of Summit County at the base of the Tenmile Range. It has a total area of 5.99 square miles at 39°29′59″N 106°02′36″W. The elevation is 9,600 feet above sea level. Breckenridge was incorporated on March 3, 1880.
