Bridgton is a town of Cumberland County in the state of Maine. There is a resort in the lake region of Maine and Bridgton is also home to the Academy of Bridgton. The town of Bridgton is a part of the Metropolitan Statistical Area of Maine. There are a number of mills in the area and they are related with saw-mills, wollen textile mills, tannery, brick manufacturing and others. Apart from these local industries, there are other places of interest like the house of Benjamin Cleaves, Lt. R. A. House, Museum of Rufus Porter and the Stone House.
