Brookhaven has a total area of about 19 sq. kms. and with an elevation of about 490 ft from the ground level. It is a small city in the County of Lincoln, Mississippi. It also serves as the County seat of Lincoln. There are a number of schools operating under the School district of Brookhaven. The city also boasts of a number of television stations. There is an architectural landmark in the city, the Temple of B'nai Shalom and many native and notable residents live here.
