Cherry Creek is a neighborhood located in the U.S. state of Colorado. It is close to the geographic center of the City and County of Denver. The neighborhood has many newer residences blended in with some of Denver's older homes. It coordinates at 39°43′15.48″N,104°56′59.29″W. The name derived from the nearby Cherry Creek running along the south side of the neighborhood. As of the 2000 census data, it had a total population of 5,028.
