Declo is a city of Cassia county and it is also a part of the Burley, Idaho MSA. It has a total area of about 0.3 sq. sq. miles. Declo is located at an elevated point of about 4, 220 ft above sea level. Potato processing is an important local economic activity of the region, which is somewhat a historic trend. A large number of schools operate under the school district of Cassia County and they are also provide employment to a substantial part of the local economy.
