Fairfield is a small town located in the town of Fairfield County. It is bordered or surrounded by a number of towns in the region. With an area of about 81 sq. kms., Fairfield is located at an elevated height of about 60 ft. from the ground level. The Government and other sectors like the fire department employ a substantial number of the locals. There are a number of well known educational institutions in the region which not only offer quality edication but are also sources of employment oppurtunities for its people.
