Glencoe is a city spread between the Calhoun and Etowah Counties in the state of Alabama. It has a total land area of 16.1 square miles. It is part of the Gadsden Metro Area. It is located on the banks of the Coosa River.

Manufacturing, construction, tourism, public services are the economic mainstays here. A local attraction is the Silver Lakes Golf Course. Others include the Walker Gap, the Green Valley Raceway, and the Rock Spring Junction. Public schooling is given by one elementary, one middle and one high school.
