Hope Valley is a village and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Hopkinton. The town is part of Washington County, which in turn is part of the Providence-New Bedford-Fall River Metro Area. It has a total area of 3.5 square miles. 3.3 square miles of the area is land, and the rest is water. The village serves as the principal commercial center of the town. The settlement was established in the late eighteenth century.
