Hueytown is a city located on the western part of Jefferson County of Albama state. With a total area of about 30 sq. kms., Hueytown is located at an elevated height of about 600 ft. from the ground level. Apart from farm related industries, there is an industrial economy of Hueytown which employs many of the locals. There are a large number of schools and educational institutes in the area. They offer substantial oppurtunities of learning, development as well as employment.
