Islip Terrace is a hamlet and CDP located in the Town of Islip in Suffolk County, New York, United States. In 1914, a New York City real estate agent acquired houses in the woods within East Islip and Central Islip State Hospital. Many who worked in the hospital lived here. East Islip High School serves the hamlets of East Islip, Great River, and Islip Terrace.
