With a total area of about 41 sq. kms. Mesquite is located in the County of Clark. It is elevated from the ground by about 1600 ft. from the ground level. The local education sector of Mesquite is looked after by the School District of Clark County. There is a well developed Media industry in the town with a number of newspapers, radio and television stations in the area.
