With a total area of about 11 sq. kms. Minden is located in the County of Doughlas at the state of Nevada. The small town of Minden is also the County seat of Doughlas. It is elevated at a height of 4725 ft. from the ground level.
Minden is well known for its gliding activities and this attracts a large number of tourists in the area. The Doughlas Campus of the College of Western Nevada is located nearby.
