Selbyville is a town of Sussex County and it is located within the area of the Metropolitan Statistical Area of Delaware. It has a total area of about 1.4 sq. miles. Selbyville is the manufacturing centre of Mumford Sheet Metal Works. The poultry farms of Mountaire is one of the principal sources of employment in the area. The farm now runs a processing plant here. There are also other type of small industries in the region, primarily related with agriculture.
