Health association chapter is present in Atlanta. This is an organization of public health professionals who aim to protect citizens, their families and their extended communities from contagion, disease and preventable threats to health. They work towards community-based health promotion and disease prevention activities so ensure a healthier America. This also acts as a power collective voice for ensuring funding for public health programs, diversifying access to health care, and eliminate health disparities. Health associations can be generalist in tone and aims, or it can be for a specific section of health disorders, such as mental health or cardiac health.
