With a total area of about 6.6 sq. kms. Au Sable Forks is a small community town of Clinton County. There are a number of branches of the Ausable River in the area. Most of them release their water in Lake Champlain. Au Sable Forks is situated at an elevated height of about 550 ft. above ground level and is mainly an agricultural town.
