Not a great place to live right now‎

I have lived at this apartment complex for the past 5 years. I will continue to live here for at least another 2, until I am able to afford a house. I liked the management and other employees when I moved in and everything ran very efficiently for the first 4 years. For the past year it seems that the company is in an upheaval, with management turnover along with maintenance people being let go. At this time we do not have a maintenance person on site. As I have (some) inside info on the working of the upper management I am aware that the owner has gone a bit crazy, firing people left and right with no solid reasoning other then “she feels it’s time for a change”. However this has left many of the tenants with a feeling that things are not good within the company. We received a letter on our doors on Friday (6pm) that they will be coming out to change all the locks on the doors on Monday (today). This letter did not let us know HOW we are supposed to get our new keys in order to get into our apartments today. I have school until 9pm. I highly doubt that there will be someone in the office at 9pm to let me into my apartment. I have called the office twice (once on Friday, once today) to get clarification and have yet to hear from anyone. This is just ONE example of the mismanagement going on within the apartment complex right now.

I would suggest to anyone considering renting from this company right now to WAIT. Right now is not the time to get involved with this company.
