The Best Choice Anyone Could Make‎

It has been over one year that dad and I had that talk that every Son or Daughter thought would never come up. Dad said he couldn't maintain his house or car anymore and asked me to find a good assisted living community for him. After doing much research, I found that Rock Spring Village was the answer. It feels like a home as soon as you enter the front door. The staff, from housekeeping, maintenance, nursing, and the food service aids, have a deep, honest caring for senior citizens. The administration staff are honest and up front with what the resident's care will entitle. They try to keep rental fees as low as possible in this trying economic times as compared to other "mega" communities. The rooms and residents are under constant supervision but residents are free to do what ever strikes their fancy.I can take my dad out for his doctor visits or spend a day with him outside the community. He has full benefits of a hair salon or transportation to shopping areas or doctor clinics. All under careful supervision of the professional staff. Dad and I both, like the community, the staff, and the administration for their care in a dignified manner. No, I don't work for this community but I do have a less worry that dad will receive medical attention if he accidentally fell or other serious medical causes. This is something he would not see in a lonely house. I am his only child and he knows it's hard for anyone to juggle a job and personal family and look out for him, too. We have found a new home and friends and Rock Spring is it. Thanks - Ed Baranowski
