A city within Grays Harbour County in the state of Washington. With an area of about of about 12 sq. miles. It is also the economic center of the county. Aberdeen is located at the east end of Grays harbor. This is at the opening of river Chalais and keeping the Olympic mountains at the Southwest. As far the economy is concerned, Aberdeen is dependent on fishing and timber. Other notable employers are Wal- Mart and cranberry farming cooperative- Ocean Spray, Imperium Renewables and the pulp mill of Weyerhaeuser Cosmopolis.
