The village is the location of the Wilson Sporting Goods NFL football manufacturing facility. It is the only leather football manufacturing facility in the country. Other local industries include Ada Technologies, Ada Stampings, LLC, Associated Plastics, and Everhardt Trucking, LLC. Ada Exempted Village Public School is the local public school. Higher education is offered by the Ohio Northern University. The village has a local airport, the Ada Airport. Ada also has a weekly local newspaper, and a radio station.
