Addison is a town in Steuben County, New York. It also has within its limits a village by the same name. The name is given after the famous author Joseph Addison. It is part of the Corning Metro Area. It has a total area of 25.7 square miles. 25.6 square miles of the area is land, and the rest is water. The southern part of the town has the Canisteo River flowing through it.
