Alamo is an unincorporated community in Lincoln County, Nevada. It is situated at an elevation of about 3500 feet. The Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge is located close to the community. The Devonian Alamo Impact Breccia is between Alamo and the town of Rachel.
The main contributor to the economy here is ranching. Tourism is also a prominent activity. Attractions include the nearby warm springs, wildlife refuge, Extraterrestrial Highway and Area 51. Alien memorabilia is also sold at some gas stations.
