Alden is a town in Erie County, New York. It has a village within it, by the same name. It falls within the Buffalo-Niagara Falls Metro Area. It was established in 1823, and incorporated as a village in 1891. It has a total area of 34.5 square miles, most of which is land. Water bodies include Ellicott Creek and Cayuga Creek.
