Andalusia is a city in and the county seat of Covington County, Alabama. The community was settled in 1841, and was incorporated in 1884. The city has a total area of 19.0 square miles. 18.9 square miles of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.47%) is water.

The city is known for tthe World Championship Domino Tournament held here. Andalusia Elementary School, Andalusia Middle School, and Andalusia High School comprise the school system here. The city also has two local radio stations, as well as a local newspaper. The local airport is the Andalusia-Opp Airport, which is located about five miles east of the central business district of the city.
