Anderson Township is a part of Hamilton County, Ohio. It is one of the twelve townships making up the county. It falls within the Cincinnati-Middletown Metro Area, and has a total area of 31.2 square miles. The township was established in late eighteenth century. Cherry Grove, Dry Run, Forestville, Fruit Hill, Sherwood and Turpin Hills are the census-designated areas in the township. It is named after Richard Clough Anderson, surveyor for the area.
A part of the township serves as suburban area for Cincinnati, a part is farmland and the rest is open space. Public schooling is administered by the Forest Hills Local School District, which is extremely well rated. The major roads serving the township are Interstate 275 and State Route 125. The cost of living here is 3.40% higher than the country average.
