Andersonville is a city in Sumter County, Georgia state. The city's population was 255 as per the 2010 census. It is part of the Americus Micropolitan Statistical Area.
During the American Civil War, it was the site of a prisoner-of-war camp which is now Andersonville National Historic Site. Tourism is also popular here, as the town is constructed to look as it did during the American Civil War.
